A one-day workshop tailored to music teachers. Dive into modern music creation and understand how music producers and songwriters are creating and composing their works. Each teacher will leave their Professional Development session feeling inspired, confident and even more in tune with their roll as a music teacher and creative.
Explore different tools and processes used in the industry. Put your new skills into practice on the day & collaborate with other teachers in a hands-on, workshop-style learning environment. All knowledge and skills will be universally applicable to your school resources.

Education, collaboration and music creation have always gone hand-in-hand for Tom. Alongside being a registered Queensland teacher, Tom brings more than a decade of songwriting and production experience to his music creation workshops. Tom is a multi-instrumentalist and natural collaborator—he's all about creating a compelling sound, drawing on diverse genres with modern and vintage equipment. Day to day, Tom is at his best writing and creating unique tracks alongside world-class artists. He is a signed songwriter and producer with SONY Music Publishing and has taught at Music Industry College, JMC, QUT and APRA sessions.
